It may be frightening at first
Most volunteers come with pre-conceived (add hyphen) notions of what a prison and its people will be like. Many are nervous and fearful to walk in for the first time, not knowing what to expect.
…but fear always turns to joy
Volunteers quickly come out of their inhibitions and fears and begin to feel safe and secure. They are surprised by the many interactions with the audiences and staff members that change their view of the world and create memories of a lifetime.
